Cold weather and rain kept numbers of runners down. We preprinted maps because of the rain. Many people thanked us for the convenience of the preprinted maps. Orange course had problems at the first control. Control 1 was missing for the first 6 runners. It was corrected mid-race and did not affect later orange or yellow. That flag was later found down in ditch across road moved by capricious wind or unknown person. Red and Green included a control in an overgrown grassy area west of Ridge Rd. The shrubby regrowth in this difficult open area made control 10 green, 14 red a pop-up control that bunched up the runners.
