Permanent Orienteering Course
Maps for two permanent orienteering courses are available through SMOC.
Yankee Springs: The course at Yankee Springs consists of about 30 permanent control markers at locations ranging in difficulty from beginner to advanced.
Pontiac Lake: This course has 25 permanent control markers, of which 7 are beginner level (Yellow), 10 are intermediate level (Orange), and 8 are advanced (Green/Red/Blue). The master map shows all 25 locations, and there are separate maps showing Yellow, Orange, and Blue courses made from subsets of these controls markers.
