Membership
The benefits of membership in the Southern Michigan Orienteering Club include the following:
- Discounted fee for maps at local orienteering meets
($5 per map for members, compared to $10 per map for non-members).
- Receive the Club newsletter SMOC Bearings containing news, information, announcements, and meet results.
- Receive e-mail updates and reminders about meets and other Club events.
- Become eligible to join our Yahoo! group

to contact other members and get up-to-the-minute information about Club activities.
- Compete for the Club championships (top male and female members on each course of the Club championship meet).
- Support the sport that you enjoy, and help us grow and expand our library of mapped areas.
Membership fees for the calendar year (January 1 through December 31):
- Individual membership, $15
- Family membership, $25
- Scout troup membership, $25
