Silver Lake

Location: Pinckney Recreation Area
Dexter Township
Washtenaw County
Description: Pinckney Recreation Area, west of Silver Lake to south and east of Halfmoon Lake
Directions: Separate start areas on the west side of Silver Lake and the east side of Halfmoon Lake
  Silver Lake: Take US-23 north from Ann Arbor or south from Brighton to North Territorial Road (exit 49). Go 10.6 miles west to Dexter-Townhall Road. Turn right and go north 1 mile. Turn left onto Silver Hill Road. Go .6 miles and turn right at the park entrance. Follow orienteering signs. State park daily or annual vehicle pass needed.

Halfmoon Lake: Take US-23 north from Ann Arbor or south from Brighton to North Territorial Road (exit 49). Go 12.1 miles west to Hankerd Road. Turn right and go north 1.9 miles. Turn left at park entrance for Halfmoon Lake Beach. Follow orienteering signs. State park daily or annual vehicle pass needed.
